CURTAIN
A One-Act Drama About Bullying, Abuse,
and the Consequences of Silence by
George Cameron Grant

Will YOU stand by and watch?
Twelve-year-old Ashley feels safe and alone behind a curtain, sharing her troubled life with an online audience of strangers.
At school, she's bullied and humiliated. At home, she faces neglect, abuse, and a growing sense of hopelessness. Behind her curtain, she searches desperately for the understanding, acceptance, and love missing from her everyday life.
But as her classmates watch her unravel online, their fascination becomes something far more disturbing. And when their own hidden struggles begin to emerge, they are confronted with an uncomfortable truth: everyone has something behind their curtain.
CURTAIN is a powerful, unflinching one-act drama exploring bullying, abuse, adolescent mental health, and the devastating consequences of remaining silent when someone desperately needs help.
More than a theatrical experience, CURTAIN challenges audiences to recognize suffering, confront cruelty, and understand that standing by and watching can have consequences of its own.
