GRATITUDE
A Dramatic Solo Play for an Actress by
George Cameron Grant.

One moment between loss and forgiveness can last a lifetime.
Some childhood memories are so beautiful we wish they could last forever. Others remain with us because we would give anything to change them.
For one young woman, the memory of her parents dancing together in the quiet of their home represents a world of love, laughter and security.
But when an ordinary household accident sends her mother to the neighborhood grocery store, that world is shattered by an act of senseless violence.
What follows is not simply the story of a daughter's devastating loss, but the painful unraveling of a family and the realization that grief can blind us to the suffering of those we love most.
GRATITUDE is an emotionally powerful solo play about childhood innocence, parental love, sudden tragedy, guilt and the forgiveness we sometimes discover too late.
