A PERFECT ENDING
An Irreverent Feature Comedy by
George Cameron Grant

Sal Evangelista has spent forty years trying to write the perfect ending. Now he’s trying to give himself one. A spectacularly botched suicide attempt leaves the washed-up Bronx screenwriter alive, humiliated and reunited with Moe Berman, an old friend whose loyalty proves considerably more reliable than Sal’s luck. Before long, Sal finds himself careening through a world of broken dreams, old Bronx memories, Hollywood hustlers, unlikely opportunities—and a taxidermied Chihuahua that may be worth considerably more dead than alive. What begins as one man’s determination to end his story becomes an outrageous second chance to rewrite it.
A PERFECT ENDING is a fast, irreverent comedy about failure, friendship, show business and the stubborn possibility that life can still surprise you after you’ve decided the picture is over.
